my midas blenny eats flakes then after a while spits it all out into a bunch of pieces. i know fish do that when they're sick or can't eat but he does it in a weird fashion where he opens his gills and spits everything out like a confetti show. has anyone else experienced this? should i be worried? thanks!

how big is the blenny and how big are the flakes?
yeah i know then people often treat their foods with garlic etc. but i think it's because the flakes are too big because i started to brake the flakes up and it ate it fine. it's just weird that when eating big they do that i never seen that before is this normal?

Thats right. they need small foods. As far as dry foods are concerned, besides small flakes, I've had luck with New Life Spectrum Small Fish Formula. Much better than flakes, IMO.

I am not affiliated with Larry and this is of not benefit to me, but if you have never tried Larrys Reef Frenzy, do it.
I still feed flake or pellet, but I also feed Larrys ever day. Very little pollution, and all my fussy eaters love it. If you have a Midas blenny that doesn't like flake, find something he does like.
I cannot say enough good things about the LRF frozen food.
