We took some time this weekend to rearrange a few corals (some were getting too much light, others, not enough) and did a bit of pruning. Here's an updated FTS:

I agree, the new aquascape has a very nice shape with that canyon being more visible.

Your flame angel sticks out so much in the last two FTS, and I have always had a soft spot for them. Has he ever picked on your SPS? What about select LPS?

Thanks! We bought them as a pair from an LFS. We were really struck with how beautiful they both were, particularly, the male is such a handsome boy! And it's great to see him getting better as he ages.

Thanks Brett. As we narrow in on the corals we really want, and as they start growing in, there always seems to be a need to make adjustments. Keeps things interesting, no?

Alex, believe it or not, the pics don't really capture how eye-popping this fish is. It's just amazing, and we're not really running any supplementation - just the Ushio 14k's. As far as picking - he's been great; seems to do more picking at the sand than corals. Of course he is an angel, so there is the occasional polyp nipping, but nothing that is bothersome at all.

Tank looks awesome and i love the yellow belly regal angelfish which is my goal show fish. This past weekend i went to two lfs. One had the yellow belly and the other had the regular. How does your regal eat. It was recommended to me to have a good amount of sponge growing in tank.

Thank you! Our Regal Angel has been with us for approx 4 years now. Fortunately she is not picky and will eat anything we offer her. She does spend a good amount of time during the day perusing the undersides of rock looking for sponge. Getting a new Regal to eat prepared foods can be very difficult. We've found that juveniles make the transition easier than adults. If you plan to try one, make sure you see it eating prepared food before you make the purchase.

Thank you! They are not difficult to keep at all and they will do fine alone, in pairs, or in a harem (1 male, multiple females), however, males tend to flash/display more with females present.

Our M. kuiteri has just recently transitioned to male and I believe he came from Australia. He is very active and spends the majority of the day hunting for pods and small crustaceans.
