Mild, but Annoying Dinoflagellates. Help?

Hi, i have the same problem in my tank for about 6 months and its huge like everywhere i removed the sand i even change my live rock but nothing... Now i have been followed this tread and i believe that make sense what Eastone said about the nitrate because i have the same readings 0.00 nitrate(using redsea test) , however i will try now the red fied ratio calculator to try bring nitrate and phosphate on balance to do that i will also add potassium nitrate .

hydrogen peroxide combined with a few days with out lights killed mine, with no isues to sps/lps, fish...

Well, something happened. The nitrate dosing drove my phosphate down significantly and I lost all my chaeto, creating another issue. That has since stabilized and now running without chaeto my nitrates run around 2-5 and phos has been hovering around 0.02. I have noticed a decrease in the brown snot on the rocks, its almost non-existant now, but I still have stuff on the sand bed which is quite annoying but I'm not going crazy over either. Right now every third water change I'll stir up the sand and vacuum it and it seems to help for about a week. Corals are in a good place now so I'm reluctant to try anything else at this point and am hoping with time it will just fade. I did think of adding some sand stirrers because I've noticed that where the sand tumbles from too much flow or wherever my pistol shrimp is working, the sand looks great.
