Millapora with RTN

I picked up a Millapora about 3 weeks ago and the bottom 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch has lost all its tissue the area above still looks healthy or should I say still has its color and polops are extended. Will the rest of the frag secumb (its about 3" long)
Is their anything that I can do to save it? At the same time I put this frag in I put 2 acro frags in and they are growing great.

I had that happen with stress from a salinity problem (siphon created to top off water) when I came back from a vacation. I fragged the top branches above where it was losing tissue, and now I have 3 nice millis!!

With base up tissue loss, I usually snap off the branche(s) into the good tissue, and reglue those frags. Many times the tissue loss won't stop, but if you frag it, the fragged pieces will do fine.

Thank you for the responses. I have taken a new set of readings and they are as follows:
Ph- 8.3, Temp 78, nitrate 0, phosphate 0, alk 10.8 kdh, cal 370

Since I origionally posted I have given the frag a bath with Tropic Marin Pro-coral cure and then cut frag about 3/8 of a inch above the point where the tissue appeared to be healthy. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. would really love to save it , it has some great coloration. Would attach photos but haven't figured out how to do that yet.

Very simple.

Then when you want to post a picture, just copy and past the "Img" tag under each picture you want to post.
Done.

Your params look pretty good, Temp could be a little higher, but shouldn't cause RTN. Unless it's dropping down to 70 at night?

How's your water flow?

I would follow's Joe's advice, I've also done the same.

Water Temp

Water Temp

The water temp has been a problem somewhat. I have notice that in the morning before the metal halides come on it will go down to 76. I will increase my heater size now that you mentioned it. I have a 120 display with a 40 gal sump with a 40 gal refuge with 2 heaters at 200 watts. I'll increase to 2 @ 250 hopefully that stabilize it. I may be better putting halides on my refuge and turn it into a frag tank and run the lights at night. I currently run 2 fluorescent tubes over a deep sand bed with a large ball of chato in it. Temp may not have been the problem in this case but I believe that I do have to add more heat to lessen the night time temp drops which deviate a bout 2-3 degrees from daytime.
