Mimic anemone

That thing is amazing looking. Those tentacles are just weird.

Yes you can post pictures like you are wanting to do. It's in the Go Advanced page and it looks like a paper clip. If you need any more help to use it PM me.

Thanks Dkulhman! I should have noticed that so a thumbs down for Akida instead. Will at njcoralsdirect is getting in a sick blue one that looks like an acro with red streaks going through it, probably even nicer than this one. Give him a call if interested as he is the only one I know who can get these in. I wouldn't mind if I had to feed it like an NPS since I feed my tank heavy everyday, my SPS suck them nutrients right back up. Here is a night time photo and as you can see my flow is a bit too much for him (and I turned my Gyre down to 40% to accommodate until I add some resistance). I can't wait to see how he looks under the Metal Halides. I need to add a reefbrite soon to complete my tripod of MH T5 LED baby! Yea, Yea, Yea I know energy this and that and electric this and that. I figure if your laying all this dough down on livestock you might as well give them the best lighting possible.

Thanks Vince, I hope so too. The problem is there isn't enough information on the web regarding these mimic anemones so I really don't know if they're filter feeders or prefer direct meat feedings. Some pics from yesterday of the mimic under the halides and some night photos which are really cool.

Yea when it was first introduced I fed my tank some vitamin enriched brine and squirted some at his tentacles which were open at that time. He didn't seem to eat it but may have been stressed from the drive and new environment.
