Mini Carpet Anemone Vids/Pics

Took a video of my mini carpet nems (Maxi Minis - the larger variant of S. tapetum) eating some mysis shrimp. It would've been longer (from start to finish), but my memory card ran out of space.

I think the best places to find them are from fellow reefers here on RC and such. I've been looking for more myself at LFSs and online stores, and they are impossible to find! Not sure why they are so difficult to obtain.

The craziest thing about that video is the cleaner shrimp just hanging out. I feed my elegance the same way and my cleaner goes nuts over the food. He has to eat first or he'll steal it away from everything. Do they bother him? He must've gotten stung by the minis before and just lets them eat. ??

My shrimp is pretty good about leaving stuff alone IF I have my hand in the tank. You can't tell from the video, but my hand was in the tank while the maxi minis were eating.

I just picked up one today I am amazed at how sticky they are one stuck to my finger and it picked up the rock that it was on when i tried to get it off.

i had some mini carpets in one of my previous tanks, and im trying to find some more, but they are hard to come by.

mine were not near as nice as yours though
