He has moved further and further under a rock on the sand bed and I can't get him loose to bring him up any, and other critters are always getting sand around his mouth area.
Maxi minis are pain. Some people say you can get them to loosen their grip by putting an ice cube in a bag and rubbing the base with it. I say get a large rock and cover it so it blocks the light. It'll move in a couple days most times.
