Mini maxi doughnut.

I ordered a mini maxi online and when I received it, I found that it has a hole straight through the mouth and foot. Looks like a doughnut. Think it'll heal from that? I have it in treatment with antibiotics but I don't know how well it's doing. Was face down earlier today but I flipped it back over and it reattached. Should I just keep an eye on it? Maybe cut it in half as a last ditch effort?

Here's the pic. Wasn't a vendor, just a hobbyist getting rid of his maxis. Picked up 9 of em for a good deal so not too bad. Really want to save this guy though because I don't have this color yet. Plus, I would hate to see it die. Any suggestions? I have him in a 5g qt, treating with cipro just in case. Going on day 4. Seems to be acting normal so far. The hole doesn't have any decomposing tissue.

It looks pretty bad.. But if the anemone is still doing well I guess it's fine. I guess you could cut it in half.

Just wanted to give an update. Hole is pretty much closed and anemone is extending fully an pretty much healthy looking. Phew! In the beginning I could literally look down and see the glass through its mouth with all it's mesenteries hanging out. In 4-5 days I'll try feeding it a small piece of shrimp.
