Mini Maxi

Anyone keeping MM anemone's with Magnificas? My LFS has some nice ones at the moment, but I'm reluctant to upset the proverbial apple cart because my Mag is doing so well. I've not heard that MM will do chemical warfare with their larger cousins - anyone know for sure?

Also would I best served by QT any new anemone, regardless of species, so as not to pass anything on to my resident Mag?

As long as you qt first should be no problem. They really peaceful and they hardly move. If u wanted to be sure you could keep it further away from your mag.

I never QTed any maxi mini's; just drip acclimated & put them right in DT. Over the yrs. I had at least 25 & never lost one (& never a problem w/ my RBTA, sebae & carpet nem). They're pretty hardy & usually stay near the spot you put them.

I agree with Bill. Never bother anything or move very much. I got about 5 in my DT with the 9 host anemones one of which is a Magnifica

Mine haven't move ....just stayed were I placed it.
