I plan on purchasing a turbelle stream kit which comes with two 6100s and a multicontroller for a 280 gallon reef tank. Tank dimensions are 96 x 24 x 28. I am concerned about excessive water flow which may disturb the sand bed. Does anybody know what the minimum flow rate is for the 6100 and can it run at the minimum setting for an indefinite period of time?

doubt too much flow. I have one tunze 6100 on max flow for my 180 and am thinking of another. they are adjustable and if angled correctly with the magnet you will not have sand storms
