Minimum tank sizee?

hello me lfs has many 2-3 inch blue maxima clams and i was wondering what the minimum tank size you could keep one is?

If one is successful at keeping the clam, it can be expected to get to 10" or so.

minimum volume tank depends on the keeper and how willing they are to keep the water parameters stable....so clearly, the more volume the tank, the easier it should be.

a 2 inch maxi could be kept in a small properly maintained tank for a coupple years, even a 10 gallon
