Missing Leopard Wrasse.

well now im worried. my fav fish is MIA. hes gone missing for a day or maybe 2 before, but its been almost a week. and i havent seen em. hes never gone this long. do they hide for long periods some times ??

bummer man...i hope hes just hiding in the rock somewhere...did you check the area around the tank to make sure he didnt jump?

Hello there. Wrasses are know to go into hiding for long periods. If it was doing well maybe one of your other fishes might have started to bother it. I wouldnt worry to much. It will turn up.

bummer...have you come out and looked at the tank in the middle of the night with a flash light to see if hes out?...that sucks that hes not out and about...hes a cool fish

P they are hiders. Don't worry. They are also VERY peaceful and can be picked on very easily by other fish. They have been known to hide for extended periods of time in DSB's.

he will come out when he feels safe . you may have a fish that is harrasing him and that may be the reason he is hiding .
how long has the fish been in the tank ?
what other fish are in your tank ?

i think its your purple tang. you should teach him a lesson and take him out and put him in my tank

i know they hide for a while, but he has never hidden for this long, was always out and about, have been with the new tank for over a month and a half now. new additions are lyretail anthias, pink tail trigger, and thats it. no one ever used to bother this gal. so thats why i posted. and erik dont temp me. make sure you add this fish last when you get one.
