Missing parts for Tunze Calcium Dispenser 5074

Roger-
I went to hook up the Tunze Calcium Dispenser to our Osmolator that is already in use- and I am missing parts-
p.35 part 8 (3x3000.24) and part 8a (3000.243). How can I get these parts.

Also this comment was made in another post-
read the manual and it says that use of calcium hydroxide can shorten the life of the pump.

Is this an issue if you are using the calcium dispenser with the osmolator?? I was assuming when I hooked this up that the pump would be protected from the calcium hydroxide by the check valve.

Do you know can any other media be mixed in with the kalk powder- such as magflake for magnesium???

ck1,

I am sure Roger will be able to sort your missing parts.
I use the 5074 dispensor and when the pump is used with the dispensor it is in RO water and should have no problem with calcium shortening its life. It is important to use a check valve so the kalk mix does not back siphon. I had a small issue with the check valve in my set up as I have my RO container outside and a small insect got into my RO tub and made it as far as the check valve and caused the check valve to fail so keep a lid on your top up water.
I am not familiar with magflake but as long as it does not react with calcium hydroxide it may be okay.

Magflake will react with calcium hydroxide, when using kalk you really can't use anything else.

PM me an address and I will send the screws and clamp.
