Asked my oldest to put salt in the container for the water change yesterday (55 gallon brute). After about an hour she hadnt done it so I went ahead and did it.
What I didnt know what about an hour after that she put a bag in like I asked her to, although I guess to her two hours after isnt a problem. Already had the pump going to mix it so I never looked at it
Today I removed the 50 gallons and pumped in the new water, except it is double strength on the salt
Tank went cloudy (obviously) and the corals are stressing and filming a bit.
Total volumn on system is 600 gallons or so, so I am hoping this isnt a castastrophy but never had this happen before.
I pumped out about 20 gallons and am letting the sump refill with fresh from the line.
Should I worry or just wait it out?
Thanks
