Mixing Anemones

I had this plan to install a 29g and plumb it into my 110g sump, so that I didn't have to set an additional skimmer, carbon, HFO, etc. However, it dawned on me that I can't mix a H. magnifica and a BTA in the same aquarium, and I'd basically be doing the same thing because I have the magnifica in the 110g and wanted to put a BTA in the 29g.

So, is this really an issue? Do I need separate Aquariums systems for each anemone?

What about BTA's that aren't related? For instance, a Rose & Green BTA in the same system.

I have seen a ton of tanks with more than one nem and i have seen tanks with different species of nem so i wouldnt worry about it to much

Okay the H. magnifica is in another tank, correct? And you want to add a 29g with a BTA? You can do that, how big is the sump, and your skimmer? Run carbon and you should be fine. But acclimate your mag. to the new addition of carbon though, introduce carbon slowly.

I have seen different color/morphs of BTA's in the same tank. I dont think that will be an issue.

I always buy oversized skimmers, so I think it's rated at 240g for a 110g tank. The sump is a converted wet/dry, so maybe 20g.

You can mix anemones. I had a 70 gallon with both a carpet and a BTA. Both did fine for years. I have also been to a friends house who had a carpet, bta, and a long tentancle. His tank was a 150 gallon with a 75 gallon sump. Everything seemed to do very well.
