I posted a thread a few days ago that for some reason got deleted ( i assume because it wasnt in the "clownfish and anemone" forums, however i did not get to read all the replies due to the holiday so im not sure what everyone was advising on this issue. So here goes the question
I have an Ocellaris that has been in my tank for about 10 months, i added a juvenile Maroon about a month ago. so far they are the best of friends with some minor nipping by the Ocellaris to the Maroon. The few replies i got to read on the last thread said the Maroon would no doubt kill the Ocellaris once it gets bigger and more mature. I have seen videos on youtube of the two species breeding so i know its possible they can pair up. I am just wondering if there is anyone out there who thinks this combination will work or if i destined for failure and a dead Ocellaris. This is in a 30gallon tank with the only other tank mate being a mandarin dragonet. I also have a RBTA who has been a great host to the maroon so far. I will be upgrading to a 75 gallon in April so there will be much more room.
