It looks really cool on the floor. It's an accident waiting to happen though. Raising it by just 6 inches would have at least protected it from bumbling feet yet would have impacted the visual effect very little.

Re-read his post...he talks about plans for his 500 gallon system.
You're right. Sorry.

I rarely read posts from start to finish LOL :D

Here is salty child 79 40br. It, along with the "forest" and "bonsai" tanks, have been my inspiration. I couldn't find a build thread but, hopefully he'll see this and discuss his equipment.

Hi Everyone

Here is my modern cabinet for my diamant rimless 48" x 30" x 26" tank. The stand design is courtesy of Marlon here on the Modern Reef Aquariums thread â€"œ many thanks to his permission to use the design.

Here is the stand made here in Bangkok. Not 100% the same, but close. It is hard to get anything as different as this made here and have it 100% to plan I found. I also added the rectangular port hole for pipes to go through. It will face a wall and be hidden. The circular hole will have a grill custom made to cover it and have a computer fan on the other side to suck cool air in. The grill will be one of these two.

The rectangular hole is for the overflow and return pipes to go through. It will be against a wall so will be hardly visible.
