Cool 3 tank shot. The tanks are not braceless but the over all feel is very nice and clean looking

i really love the open top, but don't you get annoyed about the glares coming from the hanging lights or is it just me?

That can be fixed. The enclosure has to be deep enough and hung at the right height to eliminate light spillover. However if you do that the fixture "box" isn't as sleek looking .

I like the stainless steel trim, but from a practical point, tanks that can't be accessed from the front can be a maintenence nightmare.

I don't really see any glares from mine, unless i am trying to look up at the tank from a kneeled position maybe?
Other than that you just turn the light on in the room and it's no different than when the light shines through the glass on any other tank

wow! the 3 tanks shot are very clean looking with the mh pendant, even it's not rimless.

can you post pics of modern hanging t5s, clean as mh. i want to get some ideas.

Thanks kar93.
Everything is custom-made.

What an inspiration, these tanks are so amazing and unique! It will be some years before I could own an ecosytem like the ones you've all created.

I would not consider mine "modern" at least not by european standards anyway - but it is as modern, or maybe even more so that some tanks shown so far.......

Its an old pic and the cabinetry wasn't fully finished...... I must get an updated pic.... theres a HDTV built into the oposite wall.... all lighting stainless spots.... wooden floors.... white walls.....

This trend is starting to catch on here in the states. It's been fairly prevalent in Europe and Japan. I've commented with Invincible before, it's the attention to detail and integration of design for both the outside and the inside that sets these systems apart. I'm all for it and it for lack of a better term brings the hobby to the next level in my opinion. It's the perfect balance of art, design and science and not just science. Looking forward to seeing more.

My aquascaping certainly does not fit in minimalism criteria, but the tank design is much more contemporary than average...

Perfect "integration" this is what im calling this style of attention to detail. I love it. Its less about modern or not modern but like I posted before; attention to detail on all levels from inside to out.

Great pics everyone!

I can't believe that trimless tanks are not more popular or more common here in the US. I just moved here from Taipei where they were quite common, and I've found they're very much a special-order item here in Texas.

In fact, the nicest tank I could find that fits my specs is an ADA...and it comes here all the way from Japan. :eek2:
