Nitrox,..do you have a build thread? Id like to see more pictures of your setup. How big is it ?

No;) ; those are the first pictures of my set up, which is quite young as far as it has been set up only twoo month ago.

But as you wish, I'll start a new thread with the set up explanations and some other pics.:D

@Ciao
Nitrox

I hope you, guys, may forgive me for my english. I actually speak french:strooper:

Can you really use car paint on wood? I though car paint was only sprayed on and in large volumes. Can you buy car paint in smaller amounts???

yes ...you can use auto paints on wood....i did used it on my kitchen doors...

here's an idea...
automotive white paint inside and automotive silver metallic paint outside...plus accent it with black airbrush baroque print.

I like this idea. I painted my current stand black last week and had been thinking about a dark grey baroque print for it. Then decided I would prefer to just go with a new stand all together since we are moving soon. I like the idea of the metallic paint with the baroque print. I will have to see when we move though because our new place is 100% polished concrete. Walls, floors, ceilings, ect. So Im not too sure yet how I want the stand to look. Just trying to get ideas.

I love neobaroque.

I have always wanted to incorporate that into an aquarium piece, but felt that it is too distracting. I have a couple of pieces that I keep scattered around my house instead (like mirror, dressers, frames, etc..)

Definetly one of my more favorite genres and it is very interesting how it has been re-interpreted and mixed into contemporary design.

Thanks guys! I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a look that wasn't just a box with a tank on top. I also used the golden ration when I did the calculations for my stand's dimensions.

I was reading your build thread and I must say your attention to details is second to none... Love the overall look of your tank, especially your aquascape.... :love2: Ed

just want to say....we are on the 23rd page of this thread and still my top three modern tanks here are wzhang's concept nano tank(can't wait to see it in action), glassbox doorless cab and tbone's very clean set up.
