Nice shots and setups, all.

It seems that stands that are flush with tank edges are one element here I'm planning in my next system.

Is the consensus that "modern" has to mean pendant lighting? I'm not doing that personally but am reaching for the most modern, clean look I can.

Yeah I just used a IKEA tv stand and drilled a whole for the conduit light hanger. Total cost less the $100!

Lol, when I read "where did you get the stand?", I instantly thought IKEA before I read your reply, Blide.

It looks fantastic, so not disaparaging anything, lol.

No skimmer or equipment underneath? Super clean looking.

How long has it been set-up?

I just transferred everything over from my 20g last week, so it's a new setup. I looked around on craiglist for a buffet/chest to modify but I couldn't find what I wanted so I just used my wifes old condo furniture from IKEA. All of the hardware is behind the unit and exposed but makes it nice because it's easy to work on when needed.

For the light hanger I used the article posted in reefkeeping:
