I was just wondering what pumps people have used in a 14gal biocube i wanna upgrade the pump just not sure as to what kind to go with how many GPH am i looking for roughly the stock pump is 140 GPH. Also what are some good places to order the pumps from.

And for the lighting i would like to pull the top off and put a 70 watt halide over it do you think this would be sufficient lighting for anything i would want to grow or should i go for the 150 watt i was looking at the jbj K2 viper. Also if someone could recommend a auto top off system id like to set that up as well in the tank. thanks for any info

Steven1015, I have an "aquaclear 301" hanging in front of the skimming vents on my biocube. It fits perfectly and still lets water skim thru the vents. It really doesn't look too obtrusive and i can direct the current any where.

I have a 14g biocube and have a maxi jet 900 pump (230gph) on order. I am going to move the stock pump to the first chamber and drill through the back and move the nozzle. The new pump will go where the other one was and a FLO rotating deflector will be added.

Can anyone recommend a auto top off system. Also if anyone knows any sites were i can read about them as im unsure how to set one up and i would like to put one on this tank so im not constantly refilling it.
