Mojo's 75g rimless build

I emailed them directly. They quoted me a price and I said go ahead.lol about 2 hours to assemble

that sump was from avastmarine I take it? Would you mind saying what it cost ya? That tank was 379? My lfs wants 499, and then says there's little markup. Was yours from a Lfs? Thanks!

Looks good. I have had the same tank for about 6 months now. Love them.

I agree on the glass scratching super easy on these tanks. If you can avoid the stock plumbing kit then do so because it's not the greatest. The bulkheads are questionable and the drain pipe needs to be modified (height is too short) to reduce overflow noise. Other than that they are great tanks. I'll be following along.

yes sump from Avast. Tank I bought from the LFS. Not on sale. The y have the 57g as well.but 499 they marked it up a good deal I would imagine

The sump cost me less than I thought it would. Being that or its all 3/8 inch cell cast. It was less than the one I was going to order.

um, Not usually. I found it actually easier to work with thinner acrylic (1/4 in) But with a few clamps everything goes together really well. Just make sure that all your pieces are cut to the right sizes. a little weldon #3or #4 and away you go.

If all else fails Duct tape ....

Are you planning to go thru the trouble that I see some people have gone thru to clean the Marco rock? I've seen people soaking it in RO water, acid baths, etc.

No I will not be cleaning it. Ill be running carbon and GFO. And some sort of skimmer to get everything cleaned up.

Time to paint the back

I have roughly the same water volume as you do. I would ideally like a bk skimmer to upgrade from my Nac6. Have been going back and forth from a 160 or 180. I noticed you are thinking 160. Is a 180 to big ?

Ok back painted and sump is in the stand. Time to move my 50g out away from wall and bring the 75 in the house. Lots of work to do tonight
