Mojo's 75g rimless build

Thanks, yes the JNS sk2 is on there. I ran the Asm GC3 for a month but runs better a little deeper than I like to keep my sump.

Same rock I started with. I tried to take real pics. No Photoshop. I want to be able to do am monthly update.so far so good. Had to as a bigger heater.tank wouldn't get over 76. So went to a300 over a200 I was using

Your tank is really looking nice! Love the Radions. Curious if you ever considered the AI Sols and if so why you decided on the Radions. I have decided to do a new build and trying to choose between EDGE 75 and Cadlights 100 Artisan. Also for light choice between Radion and AI Vega. Would really appreciate your advice.

Well I have had a the AI sol on my 50g cube before this tank. And it was a nice light and almost went that route here. But the vega is not out yet. I have seen them in person at MACNA and unless they change something before release there is no red or green LEDS in them.

I would suggest downloading the Ecotech radiion software and playing around with it. ITs free and can give you an idea of what the lights can do. It was a little confusing at first but took me about a day to get it all figured out. Just a nice light really. And having it put my vortech in night mode is really cool as well. So far I really like them. Time will tell. i notice my corals opening up more to feed than I did with the halides. Not sure if thats light related or not. Everything seems happy.

The thing that concerns me about the light, the fan is on the bottom and draws air into the fixture. So if the fan is drawing air in from the top of the water surface, I would be concerned that the unit is taking in to much moisture.
Really nice setup

I thought of that too. but it doesnt go into the fixture. only into a channel over the heat sink. and you can clean that part out. not an issue really at all.

Yeah, I think mine is going to take a little longer if I keep the rock. I'm contemplating a H2O2 dip or using Tech-M to see if I can get rid of the spawn of satan. This early in the build I'm tempted to just toss it and start over because I really don't want to see it pop back up later once I've got corals in the tank.

Hey mojo how do you like those radions?
Think you might have me sold on them lol I'm setting up the same tank
Just didn't know what route lighting I should go.
I was looking at your pictures from your first couple of post was that an ati sunpower 36inch fixture ? If so how was that going ' was it growing corals good being a 36 inch fixture
Also someone in my area is selling a Super Reef Octopus XP1000 Used for 175? Think that would do the 75 justice since its rated for up to 125g?
