Molting?

Should I leave the molt in the tank or take it out? TIA.

They usually eat the soft parts. I leave them in for a day or two and remove what isn't eaten. The exception is O. scyllarus that bury their molt skin. If I can find it, it remove it since it can produce a fair amount of nitrogen if the animal does not dig it up.

How long should it take him to recover to his old self again?

It depends on the size. A two inch animal will take about 10 days. Three inches at least two weeks if not longer.

Ok thanks. I havent seen him at all so I just wanted to make sure he is alright. Should I make any attempts to feed him?
