Montgomery Frag Swap

Harry and all,
There is a very good chance we can set up in the Drury Inn the day before the swap. It all depends on whether the room is rented that day. Since most functions are planned way farther out than we are now, chances are excellent we can get in whenever we want. If by chance someone rents it the day before the swap, we have to wait until they're finished.
Room rates for participants will run from $65-69, about a 40% discount.

likewise, there seems to be a lot of interest amongst us and plenty of support for the raffle etc... but how are we look for actual booth/trader/seller #'s?

Sorry, guys and gals. I've been a little MIA for several days (did a bad bad thing yesterday, so leading up and since has been crazy

I've been playing phone tag with Jim, but a friend said he mentioned it to Jim and he sounded interested. I'll give him a call Monday (don't like calling people on business on Sunday's unless I know they have no problem with it). I haven't been by to see Gordon, either. I will make it to see them by early this coming week.

H@rry-I need a nother chunk of anacropora, if you come. I lost nearly every SPS I picked up in Memphis for some reason... I thought it was RTN, but it was ended up looking like bleaching, followed by RTN. I like the form of the anacropora, though
. Not as brittle as I thought it would be.

I'll bring you another big piece of Anacropora. I'll start another thread in a day or so with pics of what I'm bringing. I have a few large colonies of SPS that have grown to the point that I need to make several hundred frags or just sell the whole colony to make space. I certainly won't attempt to bring those unless they are presold though. Each one would have to be in it's own bucket. I guess they would be kinda like "centerpiece" specimens.

Hey guys! I'm glad I found this thread..I'm a reefer in Birmingham who has yet to find a group like this. Pretty sure I'll be at the swap. I have some nice frags but not enough to set up a table. Can I still bring them(birds nest, pink stylo, awesome flourescent green acro)? How would this work?

well, the tables from what I gathered are not extremely big tables. Harry & Gary will have a full table, not sure about WIll, & I will have a full table. You're gonna have to put your stuff on a table, but if you don't have alot of stuff & feel like you only need say 1/2, then you can split a table. I've only got a 20g long and I'm paying for the whole table (it's only $10).
We welcome anybody who wants to sell/trade anything. So bring your stuff and I"m sure we can work it out!!

Will-use auto level correction in the editing software. That usually does a good job on color correction. I use Adobe PS6, but MS Picture Manager (not fax and pictures) does a good job, too (and much quicker).
For those not wanting to display-the $10 is more of a convenience fee for those who want to have a home base for selling/trading and want to display what they have. It is not at all uncommon to see people selling and trading out of coolers as they walk around the room at swaps. They are fine with doing it that way and aren't tied to a table. We'd just ask that no one set up a display on their cooler, etc., as that would negate the purpose in the tables. We can set up 12 tables and have room for a fragging demonstration, too. We may be able to release a table or two for people with only a few frags to bring. At swaps when space was not an issue, I've tried to allot for a free table for each club coming so they could manage their area's members, etc.
febreez-I've got tons of devil's hand (lobo), but I'm not sure on sarco's. I've got a couple fo nice mothers, but they quite dropping babies about a year ago (not sure why). My wife won't let me touch the Tyree neon green polyp sarco yet...
