Well I finally got a decent picture of my Blue Moon Montipora I got about 9 mos ago from Dr Mac..

Wow! Thapt's a trip cwegescheide! I did a group buy with my club from Dr. Mac the same time, a few of our members got one, I wanted one too but he ran out of stock. That looks totally different that how it was advertised. It does indeed look like an undata now, trippy! Great piece though thanks for sharing!

I was told by Dr. Mac that it was a danae but who knows. I just really like that piece and its done very well for me. Its darkened up a lot since the origional base color of the coral was kindof a faded purplish color Now its almost the same color as a chocolate bar. its grown quite a bit.

Actually when I ordered it from Dr. Mac I asked for an extra large frag and it is about 4" x 4' I'd say. I really want to get a nice frag of the Montipora Hispida so if anybody's up for a trade....... PM me!

The purplish colored one has been turning more and purple over time.

Besides from John. He's a little tied up right now I've heard and isn't doing the whole reef thing for now. Doesn't anyone else have these that have grown a little? Anyone willing to sell or trade?
