Montipora ADDICT!!!

tv tash i got a huge colony of the blue with green polyps about 2 weeks ago at the shop!!i lost part of it but managed to save about 5 or 6 sm to lg frags/mini colonys.daniel boon i love that rainbow pic alot especially since i own the mother colony it came from i gave reefer keith that frag for christmas last year .my colony had a ruff spell do to a overdosing of fw exit but its really coming back nicely and am i glad!!that rainbow and the blue green polyp (super girl i think i saw it called) are a testament that killer L E type corals are not as rare as people make them to be.just like ts vash i have gotten 3 types of superman montys also from wholesalers!just gotta keep your eyes peeled and know what to look for!shawnts 106 thanks for one of the best threads thats been going forever!!keepit up i love montys.
 
its awesome having all these rare and sweet montis, but when you find out you have monti eating nudis it sucks !! :(

Montipora's are awsome... this thread was made to show everyone, monti lovers and newbies how AWSOME these easy to care for corals are!


Im still waiting on someone to post a pic of that monti from hawaii.... blue! its awsome!

I work at a LFS, which you can see on my profile... anyway...


we placed an order in a couple of days ago and I was talking to our REP and I found out they got some SUPERMAN MONTIS IN!!!! they had 12 aquacultured.... and 1 wild colony!

WE GOT THE WILD COLONY! and it is AWSOME.... I cant wait to frag it!

its a 4 by 4 inch peice... and has really good color, and will have even better color after a while once acclimated fully!

It is not superboy. It is like a kind of nodosa. Anyway better than superboy.

It came in with 0 damage so I had to get it.
I am always leery of Danae with damage, they seem die really fast.
