Im having a tough time with these things.

Can fluke tabs be used to kill them?

I have used reef pure LUGOL's solution at 40 drops per gallon and the nudis are still crawling at 15minutes!

What can I do?

got a six line or yellow corris wrasse? I've heard they do wonders on nudi's.

I can get one!!

Thanks!

If you have room many Halichoeres wrasses will take care of them. Also, flat worm exit at higher doses (I think I've used 3x the suggested dose) works well as a dip with Zoanthid eating nudis I'm sure it would work well with Montis as well. Perhaps ask in the SPS forum for a more detailed solution.

If you use flatworm exit you will kill all the inverts in your tank so take everything out you can. I would try the six line or yellow, also dont feed them much. Make them hunt the nudi's.
I have a good friend that had well established reef and didnt want to do any dips, he got a few wrasse's and didnt feed his tank and about 2 weeks later they were all gone.

one more option is put a bowl of tank water in the fridge for a couple houres. put the coral in the refridgerated water for a few minutes and it will kill anything on the coral. I use this method before introducing any coral to my tank and have not had any ill effects on any coral. I know it sounds crazy but its really okay to do corals are alot tougher than we think they are.

I got rid of them with three six line wrasses in my 75g. Get one large and a couple smaller ones. I had to remove one of the smaller ones after a few months because of aggression but the other two paired up.

If you read my post again you'll see that I suggest it as a dip. Also using FWE in a diaplay will absolutely not kill off "all the inverts" in a tank. I've used it in displays before at 2x dosage and other than certain crabs (hermits seem unaffected), some unhappy bristle worms, and perhaps some unhappy pods most inverts don't seem phased by it. I'm certainly not suggesting he dose his tank though and dips are/or a wrasse would be a much better route IMO.

Didn't offend me in the least and I'm perfectly calm and I'm not sure why you'd think otherwise... Was simply pointing out that I never suggested he treat his tank, and if by chance he wanted to that FWE is not the invert killer you make it out to be.
