Montipora frags for sale

unknown species. Fresh cut and unmounted. Aprox 2" x 2" frags $20 each. These guys plate outwards and send up tubercles. These are not Monti caps!

two different species there in my pix... spongodes ID highly suspect. All Montipora species highly variable in growth habit and corallite ID is necessary.

I picked up a small frag from Gary a while ago. Fastest growing coral I have ever had. Oddly, a piece snapped off a few months back and has taken on a reddish polyp with an intense purple tip.

I've seen that happen in some of mine. That's why coloration is highly unreliable in IDing corals- especially Montipora species. These things can change color along with alkalinity or pH!

This is one of my favorite pieces. Super brittle but grows and looks amazing under t5. You would think they were two completely different pieces, and they're on the same rock.

but I have more. Weekends are best for picking up frags here. I don't travel to Buffalo much anymore.
