R rxinc New member Mar 30, 2008 #1 I have the opportunity to pick up a 3 yr. old Moorish Idol that supposedly is very healthy and eats everything. My tank is a 220 mostly lps and soft corals, but have read mxed opinions. Anyone have one or know first hand the "reef safe"ness . Thanks.

Paul B Premium Member Mar 30, 2008 #2 I have had about a dozen of them. All of them werte reef safe but I have heard a lot of stories of people saying they ate their corals.

R rxinc New member Mar 31, 2008 #4 Thanks for the responses. I had to recently remove a b/w heniochus (lol: poor man's moorish) b/c it was eating my zoo's and open brain corals.
