Taken last night on a mtn bike ride/photography moose hunt. Getting cold up here. All the puddles were iced over and there were patches of snow all over the place. The mountain walls had snow and even some frozen waterfalls. No real big bulls up there last night but this guy wasn't too bad.

Jesse - man it took forever for him to lift his head and look our direction. There were some cows out in the valley and that was mostly where he was looking (what a dog ).

Grant - fixed 300L F4 IS, tripod mounted, no tele, cropped some (especially the head shot).

...the local economy probably needs it. The quality of life up here is a well kept secret though so don't spread that too far. As far as most people know we have 24 hours of darkness and -60F for 6 months of the year!

Foose - no, just with a camera. I am in the minority up here with that though. Hunting is HUGE here as is fishing and I don't do much of that either. I love being outdoors but usually on the trails biking or hiking.

Rihzo - it took him forever to look my way. He was way to preoccupied with eatting and checking out the cow moose across the way!
