More Flow!

mixed 200 considering more flow for sps's
currently coralife 1100
rio powerhead 2100
any suggestions on more flow , hopefully aesthetically correct!

You can get the Tunze 6100 streams.

I would highly recommend getting that rio p.o.s. out of your tank before it melts down and you have bigger problems.

I agree with jjjimmy, those rio pumps are too risky to have in any tank. Instead go for something like, 2x6200 tunze and you'll be all set for flow.

If you find that with the 6100's that you still want more flow, you can just buy the 6200 transformers to convert them to the 6200's.

True, but for a 200g tank, it would be like having Tunze 6000's in the tank. It would not be enough flow and you would need for than 2 to make up for the flow of 2x6100.

Tunze are very expensive and overpriced IMO, but you will not find anything better or near as good even for less money.

Tunze are OVERPRICED for their technology!

get some SEIO's they are like a 3rd the price and have the same technology!


they even have a controller for them now.


dont spend 500 dollars for a peice of plastic, magnets and metal! geeze...



Not to say that TUNZE are bad powerheads, whoever says this is crazy. they are wonderful powerheads... just overpriced.

Seios are great... and work well... get some 1100 or 1500's and put them on the seio controller!
