Most fatening food

What would be the most fattening food for my Yellow Tang? He is very skinny.

Try and feed him a mixed diet. It is better for his overall health. Try doing a search using the keywords "Feeding Tangs".

tangs are grazers, so feed him LOTS of nori (seaweed). you can soak it in selcon before you feed it to him to give him more minerals and vitamins. a fresh clip of nori containing a generous amount daily will fatten him up in no time.

Is the Selcon reef safe? I have a bottle of it but after reading the label it refers to making the water cloudy etc.

Selcon is fine. I believe the bottle says something like, if it clouds the water for an extended time you used too much.. Just soak the food in it and it shouldnt be enough to cloud the water at all aside from when you first put it in (just makes a little cloud, doesnt could the whole tank).

the bottle actually recommends dosing the tank with it, for filter feeders and what not to eat it.
