Just got my coralvue retrokits; I'm going to be mounting the aluminum reflectors in my oak canopy. Is there any thermal insulation I should put between the aluminum and the wood to protect against fires? I remember reading something about this..
I have mine mounted right to the wood, but I also have two 4.5" fans in my hood to keep things cool, well... as cool as it can be which I am sure they help out a lot.
