move red planet or leave

I have a red planet located on the top 3/4 of my standard 75g. My lights are sitting on legs on top of the tank (6bulb t5). IT was very dark green, almost brown, when i got it. It spent a week on the floor of the tank and got moved up to it's current spot. Its been about a week or so that the coral is pale with slight pinkish red hue. All the new growth is ghost white and has encrusted onto the rock. Should I break it off and place it lower or just leave it?

When did you get it? The coral tends to keep a green base under lower lighting..up high it will turn all red. Growth typically is white.

its just about a month since i had it now. im going for the red/white coloration so i put it higher up. was wondering if i blasted it with too much light or moved it up too fast

higher the better for the red/white look, Have several pieces, the lower the more green
