Moving a Carpet

Hello,

I have a carpet that I bought a few days ago and I wish to move it to a different location in the tank. It has already attached itself to a rock, but I am wondering if there is a safe way to detach it from the rock and move it to a different spot in the tank.

icecube around the foot possibly. if it is new I would leave it alone untill it is well established. give it a month or so.
