moving anemone

Is there any good way to move an anemone. We are trying to put a batch of clown fry into a larvea tank. And the anemone has part of his foot on the rock they were laid on. I have pulled and faught with him, and I am scared I am going to kill the anemone. Any suggestions???

what type of anemone is it? Try getting your fingernail under the foot and gently moving around the foot in a circular motion. That is what usually works for me. However in stubborn cases i'll just put the anemone in a very high flow area and make it let go of the rock.
