In Memoriam
Hello all. I hate to say I will be leaving the central fl area in august. Actually I could be more excited. I am graduating UTI automotive school and will be working at Braman Motor Cars with their BMWs. I will be living in City Place. I was wondering if anyone knows of any LFS around there or even their reef club. Thank you for all your help over the past few years. Thanks again!

Dang spiffy place to work down there, cant imagine what a place in cityplace runs ya though:( PBMAS has a good website with a bunch of active people, there is a store on military and cherry, just south of okeechobee blvd that had tons of frags last time I was down there, cant remeber the name though. There was another place in lake worth on Dixie and around 10th, maybe just north of there, I think it was called "tanks a lot" Ive only been in once but they seemed to know what they where talking about in the converstaion I had with them and all there tanks looked good. Good luck down there!

oceans below in north palm beach is all i have to say. They will get you anything you want for cheap. They got me a pair of allardi clowns for $60

They are right off of US 1 Just south of northlake blvd. Basically what you do is go south on US 1 past northlake blvd until you see a gas station (i think it is a hess) and toyota dealarship both on your left hand side. At that light you will make a U-turn and the store will come up quickly on the right hand side. Talk to Rob, he is a great guy. I am so loyal to them I bought my custom 50g cube from them and drove it up here. He also has two show tanks, one is a huge FOWLR cube and the other is a 30g show from oceanic with some crazy looking corals in there. It almost hurts to look at the 30g becuase of the colors

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it but Coral Seas has the best prices in town. Oceans Below sometime has to limited of a selection and the other stores are a little sketchy at times. There are a few nice stores in Boca that are worth checking out. Coral Seas has very fair prices, usually well stocked, and the owner is very nice.

I believe its off Okeechoobee and Forest Hill. They have a website that I will try to find you. If you want it PM me.

Thank you everyone for your input looks like I have some driving around to get myself acclimated to the new area! Thanks again!

Thirschmann, Coral Sea is on Military Trail just south of Okeechobee, on the west side of the road.

I have some recommendations, and one non recommendation.

Jewels from the sea - Off of Forest Hill and Jog, is a good store. Very messy, the store just doesnt look appealing at all, but the guy has been in business for many years, great quality fish and corals. Just like I said, store doesnt look great by any means.

Tanks a lot - Dixie and 10th Avenue. That is a very good store, I like that store alot, clean, healthy livestock. Good prices, just had a 30% everything in the store sale, you know I was there.

Oceans Below - Northlake and Dixie. I thought they were a tad overpriced compared to most stores, but still a very nice store, healthy livestock.

Barrier Reef - In Boca, on Boca Raton Blvd between Yamato and Glades. Nice store as well, only thing I hate about that store is that there only seems to be like 3 employees working at a time, had to literally 20 minutes to be helped out when I bought my foxface.

Marine Scenes - Dixie, on west side of the road between gateway and Boynton Beach Blvd. Store looks very nice, but the owner really isnt a nice guy at all. All of his tanks are connected, last time I was there a Naso tang, and a few other fish had ich, I walked out that second.

Mark's Ark - Lake Worth road and Military. I had some bad experiences with this store a while ago, but I have to admit that I do like this store alot now, very clean, great selection, and nice healthy animals.

If you are willing to drive down south, Jaws is a great store, take 95 South to Broward Blvd, go east, and its on the left, cant really miss it.

Big Als is another store down in Broward, off of University road, and Mc Nab road. HUGE store, great shark tank. Definitely the most overpriced store I have ever been to, great selection of fish, not a whole lot of corals though.

Hope this helps
