Mp40 not spinning.

Took it apart and put back together and when I spin the magnet on the back by hand the impeller dosnt spin. The nut turns but not the impeller. I have tried adjusting the nut to different tensions and no improvement.

I watched videos on assembly and as far as I can tell I did everything correctly. The clear washer is brand new from echo tech cause I thought that was the problem but that didn't fix it

What can I try to get this thing spinning freely again.

It sounds as though the ceramic bearing is not flush with the wet frame on your wetside. I would recommend ensuring that bearing is flush, and that should correct the issue.

Ok I will try it again. If that dosnt fix it. What would u recommend? A maintenance kit and just replace it all?

You were right. It was only a slight bit it looked like it was flush but it wasn't. Was hard to in had to use the eraser side of a pencil to push it in. Thanks so much for the easy fix
