MP40 Spare Wet Side Storage

I recently purchased a 2nd MP40 and a spare wet side. The first one i had still works but needs to be cleaned. Since i will put the spare wetside in its place. What is the best way to store the the now cleaned wetside until it is needed again?

Anyone have a spare wet side that they rotate in? I don't want to let it sit and the magnet swell ? Should I just let it sit in my sump?

I have had a MP40 spare wet side sitting for 2 years on a shelf and its just fine.
