Mr. Cena's 800 gallon Reef Tank

Yeah, Cena is a very busy man who leaves town almost every week so it is hard to work on the tank. Ray did complete the plumbing but he forgot the camera so he is waiting to go back and take some more pictures. He did take some with his cell phone but I don't think I will use them because the quality is terrible. I will be posting this week more pictures.
 
well, it's been a couple of weeks of being subscribed, no pictures. I want updates, not posts of people saying they're subscribed and still no updates. this is pointless....

Wow really.. The thread is 20 Whole days old with six pics posted on the first day and you guys are sick of waiting. for pics :rolleye1: He just posted yesterday and said he was taking some updated pics this week.. Between ChevyMan and all you guys complaining I'm suprised Dyraxe even bothers updating the thread.
 
Yeah I agree, building a tank takes time, this hobby is about patience. Glad you are not in my build thread, I am going to be not updating for about 2 weeks because of silicone drying.

I am staying on this thread because I know when the next strep is completed we will be updated and also this tank is just awesome.
 
Wow talk about rude people. it takes time to build a tank and not only that but the person putting on the thread dosn't have access to the tank at anytime they want to take pic. like if it was at his own house.

Grow up and wait for it. You are acting like a 6 year old in the back seat.

Considering that a subscription is free and merely a reminder of a thread you were interested in, I don't see what the big deal is. I'm probably subscribed to 3000+ threads currently.

Now if the thread is aggravating you, better to unsubscribe to keep the peace. ;)

Me, I'll stay tuned. We were just told on the 27th that more pictures will be posted within the week. That's good enough for me.
 
Here is Ray inside a Box. He is fabricating a custom reef wall and custom aqua scape that will hide plumbing inside the tank. This aqua scape will incorporate live rock as well as artificial rock. Unfortunately this is a very slow process compared to stacking rocks so I will keep you all updated the best I can. Then again I heard Rome too was not built in a day. Stick with me folks I promise it will be worth it.

Oh yeah almost forgot, All the plumbing is in a closet on the opposite side of the tank. From what I am told Mr. Cena has a little lady in his life who loves her closet space so all of the plumbing and sump was special made to keep the little lady happy. I think she arm wrestled him for the closet and it came out as a drawl so he is only entitled to half the closet LOL!!!
 
How big is that guy in the picture? Just to get a sense of scale.

I'm thinking he's not a guy that suffers from claustrophobia. :p
 
ray is mexican and i think he is closer to 5 ft 7 inches and maybe 165 wet the thick acrylic is like a fun house it makes him look way taller then he is LOL j/k
 
what is the white cylinder above the overflow box? it has a transformer plugged into it hanging down and sits between two tubv's. Looks almost like a white OM4-way.
