Well to say this thread is well over do is an understatement. I will log and keep track of this tank build through its ups and downs. This is the second tank I will have ever built for myself. *This system will be an almost "no holds back" kind of system as I have thrown almost every dollar possible at this tank.

Now there are a few people that I would like to give a huge shout out for help making this happen,

Jeff (Orideth) - Huge thanks for making the light rack
Manny, John, & Team at Advanced Acrylics - Phenomenal Job on the sump guys
Chad (Mr. Brooks) - I cant thank you enough for the skimmer, but not only that. *Thanks for being an Awesome friend and helping me out with the direction that I am going in with this tank.
Jorden (calistyle) - thanks for the huge support and showing me what not to do with my tank.
Sean (luckysfrags) - Huge thanks for helping me move everything into my room.

And thanks to all my fans or haters (you know who you are haha :P)

Huge shout out to Chad from ATB USA for the great customer service!

Tank is currently in my room, *I am waiting on my spears unions to come in, once they arrive the tank will be plumed and water will be added. *To start i am going to go bare bottom with stone tiles from Lowes to cover the bottom of the tank (Thanks Jake Adams). *I was hoping to have the tank wet by this weekend but what is another few days? *Here is the current state that the tank sits in.

WOW...subscribed! outstanding start, this looks like a very well planed out build.
Really looking forward to following this. What do you plan on having in the tank, SPS, LPS?
congratulations!

This is going to be a sick setup. I'm really digging the sump and light rack.
Does the light rack hang off the ceiling or is it going to sit on the tank?

Congrats, Cory!

Thanks Kelly!

Congrats! You forgot to thank me

Thanks Rik! You fall into the hater/fan category :love1:

Thanks! Ive been planning this build for over a year now. I am going for a mixed reef. All high end pieces. I am a stick person but I love acans, blastos, and zoas so there will be some of those. Ohh and cant forget a clam or too :)

Thanks, I really thought both of those pieces through. The light rack will be suspended from the ceiling and eventually wrapped in wood to match the tank.

Looking killer Cory. If you need Schedule 80 spears unions, ball valves, or gate valves try Mcfaddendale here in OC they keep them in stock... I think just because I order them.

Post pictures when she has water!

I love all the upgrades you did. I mean when you started this build weren't you planning on air stones driving an undergravel plate, a Diatom canister filter and incandescants?

Let's get this baby plumbed !!!! I bet if you gave me a list of the parts needed they are probably sitting in my PVC parts bins....

Dude, everything looking pretty sick so far! Get that baby wet already!

Thanks dude! Once we are wet you and I are going to need to do some retail therapy, for fish that is.
