Ok, so I am adding some pics of my plumbing for you guys to check out before I seal the joints... I just filled my overflow last night with water to check for leaks, and wouldn't you know it, there is a small leak, but that is with the ball valve closed, I think with it open and water running down, there really wont be a leak... I need to check it out again when I get back from work to see where leak really is coming from....anyways, here are the pics...what do you guys think.. all set for action?

Looks good! I like what you did with the wood piece to support the OM. I was just thinking of doing the same thing for my 4-way to make it easy to disconnect the pump. Does the edge of the coupler just rest on top of the wood?

well actually what I did was drill a 2inch hole, and I used a coupler on either side of the wood, and put a small piece of piping through the wood... I then sealed the joints on both side of the wood tight, so that they cannot really wiggle around... it is a tight seal from the top and bottom of that piece of wood. I then had to drill through my stand's 2x4 cross brace (scary, but I tapped it first before putting the screw in)... I also used a metal L brace under the wood piece and connected to the stand as well for added support. I am now confident that the 4way is secure.

And the wet room... 2 GenX pumps...PCX40 and PCX55... the 40 is powering the tank while the 55 is going to the frag tank and calcium reactor...I think it might be too big of an energy waster (the 55) so I will be looking to switch out..might go with another PCX40. You also see the DART for my closed loop in the pics.

Haha. Everything always seems to take at least twice as long as expected for me. Looking good so far!

yah it takes longer...but I think I did a good job... oh and today, the baby came.... so I guess technically, the baby came before the reef tank was all set up... but at least I pretty much finished the plumbing ;)
