Hey Mike, tell Jess we hope he gets to feeling better. Poor guy has had a broken arm, pink eye, ear infection, and now this within a matter of months. No wonder he keeps getting sick if the doctors are sending other sick kids back to school as well. I don't blame you for being upset at the way your wife and him got treated. Don't go to jail over it though, it causes too many problems later if you have a record. I also have never understood why healthcare costs so much more than the prenegotiated insurance rates they get when you pay out of pocket. If they're willing to accept $45/visit from the insurance company - why does it cost $95 out of pocket?
All the doctors care about now is the money. Right after I bought the tank from you, I had a really severe allergic type rash to something and when I called to make an appointment, they asked me for my insurance card # before they asked for my name. I ended up having to call back because I called from work and didn't have my card right there - they wouldn't even make the appointment without the #! Finally I got in (after I raised hell when I called back and they said they had nothing available for a week) and all they were worried about was whether it might be a workman's comp claim. The the nurse tried to convince me that I had scabies, I know what that is and this definately wasn't even close looking plus, you've seen me. I'm not a dirty person- I usually shower 2-3 times a day. I also haven't been anywhere where I would've gotten exposed to something like that. Then they tried to urine test me - for a rash. I refused because they couldn't provide a reasonable explanation for what that would accomplish besides giving them something else to bill my insurance company for. She didn't take any scrapings or test anything and finally prescribed some steroid crap that made me feel like my skin was on fire. I used it 1X and threw it away. It seemed to make it get worse. Finally I was so desperate I got some Oatmeal bath and other OTC stuff and it went away just fine. They were so unprofessional and so far off base with possible diagnosis, I will not be going back.

Wow now thats a story!Sorry that you had to go through that!! Thanks for your concern for Jess. Whatever he has is getting the best of him, He is NOT his usual self. BUT he also hasent had a temp today so thats some good news 
This kid has been through some crap the last couple months .. I cant wait till you get your tank going!! I like to see things in progress!! Have you seen the 58 stand and canopy I just got done? Its in another the thread I started.

If any one from here is looking for a 72" MH fixture COMPLETE with everything, plug and play. I just lowered the price for the final time to $350. Let me know if interested. There is nothing wrong at all with this fixture.

I would love to see it sometime. I think you will be very happy with t5's. I am running 4-54w aquablue+'s and hopefully will be able to make it to see John tomorrow and get 2 of the 4 endcap, bulbs and reflector sets for the actinics i want. I got a couple of 119cfm fans for my hood from robthorn and only need to run 1 of them and i have 0 heat issues. I think it alone is overkill. Just need to figure a way to muffle the sound a little.

I'm glad he didn't have a fever today but, it probably spikes and then goes down while his immune system is trying to fight that off. I hate to hear he has been so sick, I think he is just the cutest kid and he's so smart for his age, it's amazing. I also like that he isn't shy, he just came right up and told us his name. Did they even give you any idea how long the mono would last, I think I remember it lasts a couple of months?
I just saw the finished 58, man that looks so awesome. It's such a nice size too. I would have a hard time parting with that, lol. You did a killer job on it. I know it's solid too, the one for the 180 looks like it would hold a semi truck. Yours is alot nicer looking and better made than any of the manufacturer's stand for sure.
I also can't wait to get this tank going, I've been picking up small stuff here and there but I really can't go any further until I get a stand, RO/DI unit, and skimmer. I had planned to pick up the RO/DI unit and/or skimmer this weekend but my dryer and my office chair both broke last week so, my plans kinda got changed. I decided rather than fix the dryer to just get a brand new one and I'm gonna go get this nice leather executive chair when Troy gets home from work Monday morning. I think I'm also going to just bite it and get a new washer too. The old one isn't broken but, I'd like a matching set and I don't want to deal with this one if it should happen to break. Then I'll get back to working on the tank. I'm still thinking everything should be up and running by around Thanksgiving. I already told Troy and my Mom I want stuff for my tank for X-mas. Now if I could just finally decide where to put it, lol.

Whats going on mike, so busy with getting ready to move, barely have any time to get on here... Can't wait to get to where we are going, Well at least I want be wearing the ankel art any more...

TTRex- Yeah man ya can swing by sometime. Yeah I cant wait to covert over, than I also get to redo the inside of the canopy. Theres some things in there that I want to move around again!!

Laura- Thanks for the compliments on the 58, I will be delievering it today to the new lucky owner!!! It did come out nice and wish I had the time and mula to set that one up also!!! Im going to miss her Thanksgiving is right around the corner in a way, we better get cracking on designs for it!!!
Bobby- Yeah man, come on by any time ya like man. Thats right I forgot ya havent seen it in person. I wish I could have an outter body experiance and come see my tank for the 1st time, it takes away from the way it truly looks when you build it, dont get me wrong I like it but when ya build something ya know EVERYTHING about it and all the hard work and bloody fingers I had making it!! Crap I remember thinking I shot a nail through my hand with my nail gun!!! The gun slipped and the nail shot all over the inside of the stand and I remember feeling a stinging sensation in my hand from the nail bouncing off of it!!! I had to make sure nothing was in my hand!!! aAhh the fun of building things!!!

Laura - Hes been doing good with the fever hasent had it at all yesterday, BUT yesterday was his worst day with caughing, hes caughs so hard that he makes himself gag. Other than that hes doing pretty good. Tommorow we should know for sure if its Mono or not, If he doesnt have mono hes got one heck of something!! This is prob the most run down hes ever been, he has had the roughest 3 months of his life so far, between the broken arm and 2 pink eyes and the inner ear infection and now this whole thing. poor kid!!
As far as how long Mono last, no one really knows it just needs to run its course. It had my sister for a few weeks and 2 of my cousing one of em over a month and the other just less than a month, so it fluxuates....
