my 200 to 500gal upgrade.....help needed..

man thats pretty slick......i just watched the video of your tank man thats a sweet set up you got there i might say......love the arch with the lights looks clean.....what are you generating the wave with???? im assuming some streams???

so from my understanding a weir is better than having teeth on a overflow.....anyone agree or disagree???? im trying to acomplish the best surface skimming as possible.....so im thinking about removing the teeth on my overflow and puting that adjustable wier i made in there.....if so.:(

what do you guys think about using some 2x2x3/16th aluminum tube for a stand??? the wieght of the tank completed will be close to 2 tons......i have some laying around and it seems like it would be nice to have for the weight and saltwater damage effects....

well the tank will ofically hold water now.....all thats left is sanding and polishing:(.......hate this part.......on another note thou im almost there.:)

Thank you!!!!! Coments and critcs are always welcome....:) it better than no feed back...... I'm a newbie to the hobby barely got a year under my belt so I still got a lot of learning to do........but I have been fabricating for nearly 2 decades......

well the tank is offically 100% done just needs a good cleaning from all the wax and stuff from polishing....i got the 5ft calflo overflow installed and all three 1.5" durso's for the bean animals dead silent failsafe operation..thanks bean for sticking with me and helping out.......
almost there........:)it should be filled in less than 3 weeks...SWEET!!!!!!

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

A beautiful tank...

Do you have a link for those overflows? They look remarkably simple, and like the idea of the third one turned up as an emergency backup...

Good job.
