My 2000 gallon softies tank..

nice tank, based on the aquascape, maybe detritus is building up between rocks, since the rockscape seems to be lying on the outer rim of the tank.

1m2 my new ats setup. top closed, speed is enough to cover all the surface of the plastic net, got rock weight in the bottom to make it straight, drain 5cm above ground level. facing north and south. input from return pump, goes to second chamber after skimmer. need advised if there are any flaws on the design. thank you.

I use Lanthanum Chloride to reduce phosphates, it takes very little to drop phosphate considerably, I use it weekly by dripping into a 100 micron sock until it clogs (overflows), which takes about 4-6 hrs, will drop phosphates from 1.5 to .5 in my 1400g system. Be very careful you don't drip to fast and drop phosphates too quickly as your LPS's will not be happy. Dilution I use is 200cc of LC per 5 gallons of RO/DI water. It's dripped via a peristaltic pump. In addition I run three skimmers and two algae turf scrubbers.

Should also mention that the filter sock is placed in a high flow area in the sump

forgot to mention the best part, it's dirt cheap! It's used in swimming pools to lower phosphates and found at your local swimming pool store or online under several brands, a bottle lasts me 6-8 months

sweet tank man! was that a clown trigger I saw in your quarantine tanks? If it is are you putting it in your tank
