My 225gal. from the beginning

Some bad pictures... I need a tri-pod.

Anyway, you can see some new growth.

First is a Tyree Sunset Monti frag that I bought from Dustin at the CRASE
This first pic is from October:

And here is Jan. In this pic, you also see some growth on the pink rim cap. It's Sept. pic is above.

Once again, I apologize that I cannot hold my camera still.

I wish this toadstool had been fully extended when I was taking pictures.

From Jarrod (jjmcat):

Some of Paul's birdsnest and some bright zoas from Dustin, and in the front there is the German green with purple polyps - though it is completely out of focus.

Blurry table acro from Roman. It's starting to branch.

My crazy green with purple polyp birdsnest. I frequently break branches off, so I have some frags growing out.

This really was a nice surprise. When I bought it, it was all green. Now, it has a green base that changes to blue and then reddish and the new growth is baby blue. Unfortunately, my camera decided to focus on the clownfish.

a really pretty tort - blue/purple with green polyps

Thanks, Paul.

I wish I had some camera skills.

Also, I'd like to be rid of these diatoms and cyano. I'm going to start with some heavy water changes and see where that gets me. I'll probably add some more critters to my clean up crew as well.

Maybe this summer when the days are longer and the lake is warmer, we can have a cookout and boat outing for the few people willing to make the trip up. :)

I would love to show my tank. No one up here has an appreciation for the corals and growth. They are just as impressed with the green star polyps and xenia that are taking over the clinic tank. lol

That's really frustrating to understand something and others don't, especially with the work you've obviously put into this. The rock work is great as well as the growth. Congrats.

Really like your rock work and over all a great looking tank! Hopefully you can get allot more growth out of those tyree corals i can't wait to see them all grown up.

I did a thorough cleaning on the tank tonight, even scraped some of the sides. So, to commemorate the event I thought I'd try my hand at video. I don't know how to add music and photobucket offered a selection of artists I've never heard of. So, please excuse the t.v. in the background.

4:34 min. 1st video

6 min. 2nd video and better in my opinion. It is too big for a single file upload to photobucket, so I went to youtube.

Thanks for sharing...

Paul,

As you can see my foster corals and clams are doing well. The little toadstool is normally happy, but I moved him just before I cleaned so he was still irritated. :)

funny you should ask....

I'll try and get some new pics today. My tank recently underwent a complete overhaul.
