Thanks alot when I first got into this hobby I really want to have a wall of coral and I think I have it. I may start to trade some stuff to try and have some more rare colored corals.

The camera I use is a Nikon D70 with an 18-55mm f3.5-5.6g Lens. I am still new to this camera and need to figure out how to use it. For the close up shots I just put the camera on a tripod and zoom in.

What is the Mandarin eating? Frozen?

I knew this question would come up eventually :)
The mandarin when I got him only ate pods and I tried other stuff but he did not seem to care for it. Knowing I had alot of pods with my 60-70lbs of live rock in the tank and 10 gallon refugium setup with some live rock as well I did not really worry about it. I think I have had the manderin now for about 4-5 months and I still don't worry about feeding him because when I look I still have pods on the glass and it seems when I feed my fish every other day he now eats some brine shrimp, and cyclopeze.

I have 2 clownfish that have only recently started to host in the toadstool and mushrooms I have on the left side of the tank and the manderin seems to hang out with the clownfish and they all seem to like it. Very strange, but I think only since the manderin started to hang out with the clownfish has he started to eat the food that I feed to the tank. While hanging out with the clownfish I will see him hosting in the middle of the toadstool. Sometime when I get a picture of this I will post it. I have even seen him host while a clownfish was in it. Not sure if this can be called hosting or sitting :)

What a beautiful tank. =) Where did your wife pick out the stand at? She has really good taste. You did a really good job on the canopy as well. Very beautiful set up. =)

The stand actually came from a store called "Home Goods" and it was not a fish tank stand. We have always felt the stands that come with most tanks are cheap and wanted something nicer to put in our main room. I measured how big the tank was and we looked around until we found something that would work. We almost bought a night stand from a bedroom set but later that same day we found this. My suggestion for those out there that do not like the stands that come with fish tanks is don't buy them, there are lots of furniture stores out there with something that will work.

Thanks for the compliments on the canopy. It was easy to make, anyone could have done it. Basically I just glued pieces together to make a box without a bottom, then cut it in half on a table saw and put on a piano hinge, knobs and decorated it.

what overflow do you use?

Nothing special

I hook the airhose to one of my jets to maintain suction. I have 2 of these just in case I need to clean one and don't feel like doing it right away, or if one breaks. I got these really cheap and have never had a problem.

thats a CPR right?? and is it quiet?

No it is not CPR. Its no name brand. Here is the site I got it from http://www.aquatraders.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=78

It was noisy only because the hole would suck the water thru really fast so I had a loud slurping noise. I decided to put my charcoal bag in the overflow on top of the hole and it now has no noise and does not effect the water flow.

Honestly,
I don't like any aquarium stands I see. I just ordered the Sedona series from Drs Foster and Smith. It came scratched and is cheap. I'm very disappointed. It's for my freshwater tank. It says it's a full wood stand online. The canopy is partially wood, but the rest is Laminate. =( I've always heard not to get anything but aquarium stands because there's always a chance of it breaking. Honestly though, I think these stands are very cheap and they might break anyway. Someone should come out with a fashionable line of stands. =) Quality too! Sheesh!
I don't know how to mount my lights inside this new canopy either. I don't even know if I can. Are your lights retrofit? Yes, I really like the stand and canopy. I might go that route, if I upgrade my tank.
