My 300g dream tank build

Thanks guys! Really happy we went big. It's finally starting to look like a reef. The only problem with the big tanks is it takes a while for it to grow out and with all the space it looked empty for a long time. I snap a picture later today of the mangroves from and their roots from our group buy that we did on here. They are doing awesome!

Looks great, good job and nice rockwork I have a 210 and totally agree its hard waiting for the coral to grow out and fill up the tank keep up the good work.

Um this was BEFORE my first cup of coffee this morning!!

I would love to see how you have your mangrove tank connected to your main tank.

Here are a few pics that I took this morning. The mangroves grow with natural sunlight. It drains by gravity into the sump from the left side and is returned in the tank on the right. I'll ask Mr. buffalo if he has a pump to get it back to the tank. I'm not sure. We put some chaeto in there too. Its super dark green from the natural sunlight. Mangroves are doing fantabulous! Lots of feather dusters in this tank and the main tank.
