My 30g w/ 400w MH and Tunze wavebox

Thanks to the very few of you who responded. I am happy to share my experience and any advice I can to anybody else. Little dissapointed to see so few comments but its all good. I hopefully will get some new stuff in next week and will do some more aquascaping. Sorry I am not great with the camera yet but I setup a Photobucket account so now I can share the better resolution images. I still am also trying for a FTS as well.
Thanks again to those who responded.

You really have a nice tank and its one of the smallest tanks with a wavebox. That is just crazy.

I would really like to see a video of you tank.

Anyways I will be tagging along. :D

m1enbo1, I use 2 aquaclears one has chemcial media and the other has Chaeto.
I will post a pic later

Kb-smoker Thanks for the kind words it means a lot. You are in luck I actually read through your post kind of fast as I took a demo video today and was uploading it. while I was waiting I readed your post asking for a vid. well here it is.

Here is my first attempt at a video using the wavebox mildly to move the Goni. This is a test video so its not perfect but just bare with it and tell me what you think. I did the video early today as a spur of the moment thing. The Wavebox can't be used at full power of the Goni will close up.
Photobucket compressed the video so its not so clean as when I play it on my own comp. :(

Photobucket says I can paste the video in here but if it does not play then you can view it directly from the second link i will give you to take you directly to my Photobucket account.

nice video. I really love the way the wavebox moves the coral.

Still can't believe this tank is not even 3 months old!!

Yeah I too am suprised that a wavebox could work on a 30g, I mean I had this thing on my 150g and it was really rocking the tank. The only bad part is that it eats up lots of space.

I hope that my use of the "over rated" lghting and water flow will make ppl see nano's in new light.

I think since my rocks came from my other older tank I dont have major NEw tank syndrome. I even have 6 fish in there and things are fine!

Filters Left to right Chemical media Aquaclear, Fuge Aquaclear, Skimmer ( The skimmer output goes directly into the fuge eliminating the need for another pump and saves energy and heat transfer.

LOL yeah

I got the corals in yesterday and I have some more stuff supposed to be here friday.

A 5-7in Elegance, a maze brain, Green polyp toadstool, mushrooms, and 2 cleaner shrimps.

after this I will start adding some hardy sps, like Monti, Stags, amd Millis.

another wavebox video, sorry I cant figure out how why the Host, Photobucket keeps compressing the vids. It looks better when I view th actual file Vs. the hosted video.

LOl yeah come on, not even the damn Tang police will bother to yell at me this is insanity. nearly a 1000views.
I guess 400w halides and waveboxes are not everyones cup of tea.

anyway I have a 150g so when my tang gets a bit bigger I will move it on there.
